With a price tag of $25 per double dozen, you really can't get any
cheaper. This ball was on the lower end of the A scale. Like
I always say, price means nothing without the performance so lets get
to the rating.
The feel of this
golf ball was not very good. I thought it felt a lot like the older
Pinnacle rocks. I was expecting more since they are suppose
to have a soft feel. It was fine for popping off your Driver or 3 wood
but for iron play I didn't care for them at all. A C rating is about
right for this area.
I tried out this ball at the same time as I was trying out the HX
pro
ball and I felt like I was getting less distance with the
Pinnacle golf ball. A B rating is
what I gave for this criteria since I wasn't getting the distance
expected compared to another 2 piece ball.
Durability was pretty good for this ball. I hit some pretty aweful
shots with them be it skulls and fat shots and the ball faired pretty
well. I did have someminor scares on the golf ball. The durability of
this product meets the A criteria.
