Founders Club Wedges; a review of these inexpensive yet usable clubs

br> Overall the Founders club wedges are well crafted and an excellent valued club.

Price A
Feel B
Forgiveness B
Accuracy A

With a price tag of $40 per club (2010 prices), these clubs are a steal and definitely make you wonder if they are any good since they are so cheap.

These clubs actually get an A rating.

For the price you can afford to get all three wedges and even get them cut down or re-gripped if the stock size and grip don't work for you.

The feel of these clubs was fairly good. I thought I could feel the ball on my club face pretty good and carry the ball to about 10 yards of my desired distance.  I think a "B" rating is appropriate.

The Founder club wedges did seem to ring my hands a bit on off centre shots and they are not as forgiving as cavity backed wedges like some of the Callaway or Taylormade  ones available. A "B" rating is about right for these wedges.

Last but not least, accuracy seemed to be excellent.  I felt like I was hitting  all three of the Founder club wedges right on the money.  My shots were consistently going just right or on target with only a small distance off target. I give these clubs an accuracy rating of A based on my experience hitting these wedges.

I will keep you posted on how these clubs perform on course.
