Overall DiamondBack Golf Club has a wonderful
layout and is a fun course to play.
This course challenges you to keep the ball in play, providing trouble
at almost every hole.
Play this course with someone who knows the course as you can hit some
perfect shots to death positions if you don't know where to play the
ball.

At $105 prime time rate, this course has reasonable value.
This price just falls into the B rating category.
The difficulty rating for this course was a difficult but fair "A" as
the course was very playable on the par 5s but had some pretty
challenging par 4s and fair par 3s.
As for the par 5s, good luck making any eagles as they play
pretty long unless you can get it out there around 300 plus.
The rating of Diamondback's scenery is pretty much the definition of my
A rating.
The majority of holes have some sort of water and or trees involved.
There is also a fair bit of elevation here and there making the course
a lot of fun to play.
The green conditions were much improved today as the harsh
winter damage has mostly disappeared over the last month. The
greens were in pretty good condition with very little patchiness.
I found the greens to be a little too soft on the approach shots
however and they were probably only an average speed.
One big problem at Diamondback is members not fixing their ball marks,
so when the greens are soft, you get a lot of potholes. My greens
rating for this course is "B".
Fairway conditions were good. They were cut well. Rating of A.
The clubhouse was probably an A+ in my opinion. They have everything I
like to see in a clubhouse, Bar, Restaurant, Locker Room, Pro shop and
banquet facilities. The Restaurant was good and the outdoor patio was
nice overlooking the 18th green.
The layout was pretty good at Diamondback and holes really seemed to
fit together nicely.
This course is very walkable which is always nice for a change and as
mentioned, there seems to be some kind of trouble on every hole even
when a bunch are fairly straight. This course has earned an A rating.
The practice facility at this course was definately A+ in my opinion.
Diamondback has a huge driving range and multiple putting and chipping
greens. They also have a Callaway fit centre which has simulators
inside the snack bar.
Diamondback Golf Club is a Clublink Course in Ontario just north east
of Toronto.
