Overall the Callaway FT9 Tour Driver is a great
driver at a reasonable price. If
you are thinking of getting a new driver, give this one a shot.

The current sale price of this driver is $199 at Golf Town which is
great value for this high performance club. The Callaway FT9 driver
falls into the low end of
the B rating for price.
The distance on this driver was good.
I felt like I was definately
getting a little added distance.
Although I don't think I was
consistently getting 10 more yards per drive, every now and then I was
pleasantly surprised to surpass some common landmarks where I typically
end up at my club by an estimated 10 to 12 yards. I rate the FT9 tour driver a B
for distance.
The feel of this driver was very good. The FT-9 Tour produces
a pleasing solid feel when you hit the ball close to the
sweet spot as it should. The club even felt pretty solid on off centre
hits. On sweet spot hits it just feels like you kill it and the ball
takes off like a rocket. I give this driver an A rating for feel.
The forgiveness for this driver was great. Impacts towards the toe and
heel didn't seem to translate into much loss of distance at all. Even
balls hit on the upper face of the club still got pretty good carry. I give this driver an A for
forgiveness.
The weight of the Callaway FT9 Tour driver was excellent. This driver
was just perfectly weighted and balanced. I think an A rating is about right for
the weight of this driver.
This driver has a great look to it. It's not a pretty as the newest FT
Tour by Callaway but none the less from the grip to the shaft to the
head of the driver, you really just get a great confidence from
standing over this driver. I
give this club an A rating for looks.
