Overall the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo is not a
bad driver for the price if you are desperately in need of a new
driver. But I am glad I'm not an owner of this club.

The current sale price of this driver is $199 at Golf Town which is a
pretty good value for any driver assuming it performs well and you like
the way it feels. This driver falls into the B rating for price.
The distance on this
driver did not seem to be that good.
On the back nine I was crushing my drives and the ball was just not
going very far compared to my normal driver.
I was playing a course I was very familiar with and I'd definitely say
I wasn't getting any additional distance. I rate this driver a C for
distance.
The feel of this driver was only good.
I was hitting the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo on the button for last
nine holes and it didn't have that sweet feel that it should. On the
other hand, on the range and on a few of the first holes I was missing
the sweet spot pretty bad but didn't know it until I saw the worm
burner. I give this driver a B
rating for feel.
The forgiveness for this driver was great. Although I was disappointed
with the distance overall, impacts towards the toe and heel didn't seem
to translate into much loss of distance at all. I give this driver an A for forgiveness.
The weight of driver was excellent. I didn't have any trouble with my
tempo at all when I used this driver versus my normal driver. The flow
was prefect. I think an A
rating is about right for this driver's weight.
This driver seems like just your cut of the mill driver until you stand
over it. The alignment and shape of the head when I stood over this
driver really just made me glad I didn't own it and would only need to
play it for 1 round. Obviously the way a club looks really
shouldn't matter much but I still give this club a C rating for looks.
