Bridgestone e6; a review of this new golf ball by Bridgestone

br> Overall the Bridgestone e6 is a great new ball by Bridgestone. The price was very reasonable for what you get.

Price A
Feel B
Distance A
Durability B

With a price tag of $25 per dozen this ball was on the upper end of the A scale.  Price means nothing without the features so lets get to the rating.

The feel of this golf ball was very good. I thought it was the soft side of firm and seemed to have some spin. If I hadn't played a more expensive ball the day before, I may have rated this higher but a high "B" rating is appropriate.

The ball is described as a long and straight distance ball and I think that at least the long part is pretty accurate.

I felt like I was getting better distance than low end golf balls and I didn't think I lost any distance on the more expensive balls so I was very happy.

An A rating is what I gave for this criteria.

Last but not least, durability was a little stretched with this golf ball.

By 18 I had some serious scares on this Bridgestone golf ball. It probably didn't help that there was a lot of sand on the course and I found the sand about seven times.

The durability of this product I think should be a B rating. I'd be interested in seeing if the durability will be better without so many sand shots. I will keep you posted.

See my golf tips on greenside bunkers to optimize your bunker play if you end up in the sand as much as me.
