About Me; the golf ball whacker guide guy

I have been playing golf for a long time. Well not as long as Tiger Woods but for more than half my life.

Right from when I started playing, I have had an interest in the mechanics around the golf swing.

I started playing golf at the age of 13 but I didn't start playing any significant rounds of golf until I was 17. From about age 17 to 26 I was playing about 20 to 30 rounds of golf a year.

I broke 80 for the first time at age 19 as well as making my first eagle.

It was not until age of 26 and beyond did I start to break the 50 rounds per year mark at which time my consistency and scoring average started improve significantly.

Currently in my bag I have Titlest Irons and a Callaway Driver and Titlest NXT balls.


Born in Toronto, ON Canada and grew up in Ajax, ON close to well known golf courses such as Royal Ashburn (a.k.a. Thunderbird), DeerCreek, Wooden Sticks and Cherry Downs.

My favourite course growing up was Oliver's Nest Golf and Country Club a great track close to Lindsay ON.

I graduated 2002 from Brock University in St. Catherines ON with a degree in Accounting. I have a CA and work as a financial analyst in Toronto. My wife works with me on this site providing the web expertise to share my golf course reviews, free golf tips and everything golf!
